RESEARCH

To kick off the project, I held an initial meeting with stakeholders to gain a clear understanding of their needs and expectations for the delivery management system. This process involved evaluating competitor platforms to uncover opportunities for differentiation and working closely with the team to understand the technical infrastructure and operational dynamics that would shape the solution.

DESIGN

I utilized a comprehensive design system to ensure consistency and efficiency across all designs. To prioritize usability, I collaborated with developers to review heuristic principles, incorporating features such as user freedom and control, visibility of system status (evident in progress bars during form completion), and error prevention (achieved through confirmation modals and popups throughout the app). Additionally, I aimed for a clean, modern aesthetic to make the application intuitive and accessible to users from diverse backgrounds.

DEVELOPEMENT

The first version of the application featured robust functionalities, including Order Management, allowing users to view all orders and apply filters based on status or date range for better organization. In Dispatch Management, users could assign orders manually or automatically and monitor deliveries using a live map view. The Fleet Management feature enabled users to add drivers and vehicles to their team seamlessly. Secure and scalable technologies were employed for both the frontend and backend, ensuring reliability.
